Daphne A. Burns is an appellate attorney with over two decades of experience in written advocacy in civil appeals in state and federal courts, and criminal appeals in federal court.

Daphne utilizes an objective lens to review a case for appeal and advise clients as to a recommended path forward. She is dedicated to providing thorough research and analysis of legal and factual issues on appeal. She takes a strategic and thoughtful approach to the entirety of the appeals process.

Daphne is a passionate and tireless advocate for clients and their causes.

​She is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Law where she was named to the Dean’s Honor Roll and Phi Delta Phi, and served as class president the second year. During her third year of law school, Daphne was a legal intern for the then-U.S. House of Representatives, Committee on the Judiciary, Subcommittee on Civil and Constitutional Rights, in Washington, D.C.
